“Are any of the USB ports “always on”? I’m trying to charge my headset, and I have to turn the entire pc on in order to charge it. Shouldn’t I be able to turn on the main power in the back and charge without booting it up?”

The computer must be on to use the USB ports.

Try plugging the headset into a blue or red USB port.
