The motherboard in this model PC will be compatible with any 6th generation Intel Core processor up to the i7-6700K. If you're only upgrading the CPU there is no need to change the power supply however if upgrading the video card then yes that may be necessary. The motherboard will accept any PCI-express video card from AMD or NVIDIA. For warranty purposes it is recommended to keep the original hardware.
