You may, but I don't advise adding a single stick of ram to a dual channel setup under any circumstances anyway. I believe this is also the default ram that comes with the rig, down to the timings.

The best way to purchase more RAM for the PC would be to look up the serial number on the side of the RAM and purchase the exact same stick.
