• This motherboard comes with an LGA 1151 socket that will work with 8th gen and 9th gen CPUs. Anyways, yes the motherboard will work with the i7-9700K. You cannot however upgrade to a 10th gen because the 10th gen CPUs need to have an LGA 1200 socket.
