I had the same problem, I was able to connect to a different wifi (my mobile hotspot) but not my main one. My boyfriend got the same computer as well and had no such issue. I ended up having to hardwire an ethernet connection. Although sometimes still when I turn my PC on, I have to troubleshoot my wired connection so it can recognize that it works.
