“If I read the description correctly, this computer does not come with a DVD/CD drive. Can one, or more, be installed into the tower?”

• I'm going to be honest, i can't verify if you can install a disc drive into this unit, but there are always external disc drives you can have connected via usb. works all the same without running the risk of damaging the unit if you find yourself unfamiliar with it.
