Q1 Answer - 2 are used out of the box. One is a HDD and the other used is a SSD. Q2 Answer - There are 6 total slots to hold Hard drives, 2 are for SSD's and 4 are for HDD's. Q3 Answer - There are only 8 on my machine, but there are 2 old school ports(PS/2) for a keyboard and mouse. Q4 Answer - I believe it has been out for less than a year. The computer comes with a GTX 1070 which was released on June 10th 2016.

You could put an SSD in the 5.25" drive bay, but you would need a converter bracket to fit it there. As for the USB ports, the motherboard has eight, while the chassis itself has two. This configuration has been available since it was refreshed when Kaby Lake originally came out. Thank you,
