Can this switch be used with a 3 speed ceiling fan? null

Yes. My ceiling fan only had 3 speeds with the pull chain but now it has 4 speeds thanks to this switch.

Yes, it can control a 3 or 4 speed fan. Be sure it is normally controlled by a pull chain and not a remote control.
