We thank you for your feedback as we do appreciate your questions and comments. Please note the DCS-933L has the capability to setup and forward to your email video snapshots triggered by motion and or sound detection and these snapshots will be emailed directly to the email address you have configured. In addition you have the ability to mount the DCS-933L someplace that my be out of reach or inconspicuous to an intruder and have the triggered video clips and or snapshots sent to a secured FTP server located offsite or in a hidden location to that you may be able to access and retrieve those video or snapshot files from that server anytime. If you have further questions or need additional information please visit www.support.dlink.com. We thank you for choosing D-Link.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can set it up to email you clips of any activity (motion-detection is built in to the camera). There are other ways of getting the videos off-site onto a 'cloud' server, but email is a cheap/easy way to guarantee that the BadGuy can't erase the video that caught him.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I guess they could cover it if they knew it was there, but if not you can see it from anywhere you can use your cell phone or tablet.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I suppose they could move the camera out of shot, but it records live and takes pictures and sends them to your email when it detects movement. So even if someone saw the camera and moved it, you should at the very least, be ale to get the pictures emailed to you. I believe you can watch it live, but I don't know if you can "save" all the footage and go back and watch it. Seems like you should be able to, I just haven't figured that out yet.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does not record on camera. Use the paid service and you get cloud storage OR use D-linkcam DVR app on a PC.
