Yes, the camera can record sound to an SD card. You can view the feed from the SD card without wifi.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.According to the specs on D-Link page you can record either to Cloud to SD card. I chose Cloud. I don't believe that recording to SD card would give remote access to the feed. I could be wrong on the last.

Used ours while on vacation and it worked perfectly. Be advised that there is some delay from activation to getting the alert. It even alerted when our Alexa Show started up in the morning. There were alerts when going from day to night vision and back. Great value.
