You can access this camera from anywhere as long as you have the app on your phone or the camera is set up on your mydlink account it can be accessed through the computer or laptop. You can access the saved footage through the app (I haven't used the website much so I can't say anything about it). You can have multiple cameras and access the footage on multiple devices (as long as you have the app on the phone or tablet or a mydlink account). I have 64gb micro sd card for my cameras. The max for the DCS-936L is 1285th.
