• 2-way audio is directly from the unit. It has a built-in mic and speakers. You can "talk" to the camera via the app (phone/tablet) or you computer via mydlink.com.

• No, it feeds audio from an internal mic to the DLink app, but you would require a small speaker plugged into the back of the camera for you to speak to the remote area.

• I installed speakers in order to hear better...without the speakers you can't hear.
