Please try again later.This has a memory card slot, so if a memory card is purchased separately and installed this memory card option serves to record the unfolding security scene solo even if it is in a weather proof containment in the wild for capturing game animals. Parameters in the camera are easily set and experimentation is necessary to achieve the desired results but that is the only time where a router computer connection is needed. Beyond that All that is required in this scenario is 12 volts from a 12 volt battery and a home made cable from parts at Radio Shack. The camera begins motion detecting and recording as soon as powered up. This camera can even be disguised hidden inside a discarded paint can or paste board container, ......how to conceal it is limited only by your imagination and of course appropriate to weather conditions. The setup for this was a little confusing at first trying to get the device to properly work on my network. Without my computer I would have probably been baffled when nothing worked. There are a lot of differences in how the Smart Phone app works and the access and controls via a web browser. You can always use your phone web browser to access, however it can be clunky, and unless you have Internet Explorer you cannot zoom from this interface.

There are some nice systems that don't require computers. Ask a store rep. They can point out what's in stock.
