“Does the app alert your smartphone when motion is detected and can you view it "live" or does it just record it and you must view it later?”

• The app gives you a phone notification that motion or sound has occurred. You then must start the app to view the live video. You can set it up to record the event, also.

• Yes the camera will notify you if Alerts are enabled on your device and in the App. Also, you can always view live from anywhere you have internet connection.

• It does both, live view on instant email or smartphone alert or record with installed micro chip memory card.
