- Answer Hello Shawn, I apologize for the delay in responding. The freezer lid does not have a ratchet system in the hinges to hold them in place. It is recommended that you open the lid so that it is standing straight up. Regards Ann

- Answer Hello Olivia420, Thank you for your question. The temperature range of the DCF072A3BDB is approximate -12°C (10.4°F) to -24°C (-11.2°F). The thinner, lighter blue portion of the thermostat dial indicates the warmer setting and vice versa. Regards, Dharmik
