A:Answerno... it can hold 50 bottles but because of the way that the bottles are on the shelves yes on not in, if you were to have 8 bottles on a single shelf it would be way to heavy to comfortably move in or out of the fridge. However we are still happy with it, but we are only 4 months into the purchase .

This wine cooler has a grille just below the door to allow warm air generated at the back of the appliance to be blown out through the front which means that this appliance can be used in both free standing and built in locations.
