“The new dash cam and rear cam are mounted in the rear view mirror can those be installed using the mirror? Hard to tell if all cameras will attach to the rear view mirrors. I have a 2020 Buick Encore GX.”

If you want a camera able to view through the rear view mirror, you will need a special mirror not a regular mirror. Also you will need a special camera. Rear cameras can be a two way camera or a camera that mounts on your back window. Some can be viewed via wifi some have a display, most dash cameras you do not veiw through a mirror if not all, a backup camera you veiw through that mirror. You question really did not make sense to me so not sure if i answered it or not! Lol
