previous answer "The DVR will need to be connected to your DVR"...huh?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, this does not have to be connected to the network. I have mine connected to a 4k TV..so I don't have to worry about hackers/intruders via the web...I just switch to that HDMI input to watch real time/viewing prior days activity, etc. I work from home anyway so I rarely would need to view remotely. So again, since it is not connected to the net, you would not have access remotely (via your phone or any other wireless method). Hope that helps!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thank you for your question! The DVR will need to be connected to your DVR if you would like to view the cameras while away from your home on the Defender 24-7 app! Thank you for your interest in Defender!
