QuestionI need to be able to store 24/7 continuous recording for 40 days is this system capable of doing that, if so are there settings that will automatically delete after 40 days? It has to be 40 days. Thanks.

- Answer Hello and thank you for your question. While our cameras are water resistant, they are not waterproof. Our cameras' ability to withstand the elements is measured by the industry standard IP Rating eg: "IP65".

- Answer Hello Overlord, thank you for your question. Each camera comes supplied with 65 foot of cable and can be extended up to 195ft. We do not recommend cables longer to ensure good video quality. Two DVR systems can be connected for online viewing simultaneously onto the same internet connection.

QuestionWhat is the clarity of the zoom? I'm needing decent quality that doesn't turn into a pixelated mess.

- Answer Hello Jody, thank you for your inquiry. This system does not offer PTZ (Pan/Tilt/zoom) cameras. You can enlarge the recorded image, but pixelation will occur as you are simply stretching the image. Regretfully, due to individual settings on your DVR, a standard clarity cannot be guaranteed when enlarging an image.

While they are designed for outdoor use and can be exposed to the elements, we recommend that they be installed under protection of some kind, like the overhang of your roof, to help prevent consistent and direct exposure.

- Answer Hello Agent19, thank you for your inquiry. Yes, you are able to remotely view your system in this manner. You would need to use Internet Explorer and download the NetViewer software. You will also need to have your DVR connected directly to your router/modem via the included Ethernet cable and have the appropriate ports opened.
