Q: Questionhello I have a pair of Wharfedale LINTON Heritage speakers as front channel and was looking at the CS 9060.. How will this pair? I have the Linton's because I like 2 channel music and kids like movies. Its all being run through a NAD758v3i.

- A:Answer The center channel pairs well with almost any decent speakers, it really is pretty good. Especially if you can pick it up for well below the 800 MSRP. I have the center channel paired with two golden ear triton, 3+ tower speakers and I have speaker cables with banana plugs attached to all and LFE cables because all the speakers have subs in them as well. So if you get this speaker, be sure to set it as large and run a Subwoofer cable or LFE cable with it as well

Q: QuestionWhich would sound better for playing music - a center channel like this or two bookshelf speakers? Also does this connect to google home and have an aux input? I will be connecting to a record player and want high quality sound.
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer For music no question definitely to tower speakers or two bookshelf speakers. The center channel is more important for 5.1 and in that configuration it handle 60 to 70% of all dialogue and so a lot of the work is done by the center channel. I would get This for a center channel and two bookshelves for music and simply use the two bookshelves and center together for 3.1 for movies and TV and then use the two bookshelves for 2.1 for music. You also need a sub.

Q: QuestionHow much clearance does this thing need on each side for optimum performance? I see all the pictures showing it on top of the TV stand, but what about in the component section of one housed next to the receiver? Does it need clearance on the top?
Asked by Jamie.
- A:Answer Yes, it needs clearance on the top because the subwoofer is on the top kind of more on the right side towards the back so I wouldn’t want to put it inside a shelving unit where you only have a couple inches. The sides don’t matter as much as there’s no sound coming out the sides, but he definitely want clearance on the top.
