I used these speakers with my Dolby Atmos setup and they work very well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. Only surrounds placed in the middle of the room or rear.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, these are not meant for Dolby Atmos, because they are suppose to be mounted or reflected off of the ceiling. To do it properly get (4) in-ceiling speakers. They should also be Direct Radiating and not a Bipolar design because their meant for accuracy and not surround fillers like you normally use for surround channels which require such. The SR9080 is an excellent surround speaker on wall for normal surround applications only. Id reccomend Polk Audio 70-RT which is a 3-way for Dolby Atmos or their cheaper V60 2-way cousin personally. Those are the best options going currently under $1,000 from any speaker manufacturer ive seen. My 2-cents good luck.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. These are surround speakers. For full atmos sound you need speakers that bounce the sound off the ceiling. Def tech makes speakers specifically to do this. They attach on top of the tower speakers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you can put speakers in the ceiling or purchase module speakers which fit in the top of Definitive Technology Tower Speakers.
