• My promonitors 1000 are now in my rears and surrounds. The sound is incredible. Pushing it with a Marantz 7011.

• For sure. The only change I might make would be to invest in the 9040 center, so you know that your front system is all pretty equal in clarity and power

• I think you'll be very happy with this setup. I use the SM55's for fronts with the Series 600 set filling in the rest of the channels and like that. You may want to consider a subwoofer to fill out the low end though, like the Def Tech ProSub 1000.
