• On Carpet I have not tried it, but it might if the carpet is thin enough where the rollers can drip.

• Found this info for this model on the Home Depot website. "The dependable difference for the casual user. This Light weight chair mat provides durable performance for moderate use on carpets up to 3/8 in. thick." Sounds to me like. VERY LOW pile carpet and you better be a light weight. :)
