Perrrrfffect! Chromes are perfect for... email, surfing, watching streaming video like Hulu, Netflix, amazon prime, retrieving media from the cloud or your personal servers if you have it setup with either a web access or if the App Store carries your servers app, and just it’s light weight. Videos online depends on source resolution. If it ain’t at least dvd quality 480p it’s gonna suck and not worth watching. 720p on this small size screen works perfect for me. But some want the best. Can’t go wrong for buck fifty.

As for the tasks you described, Chromebooks should handle those tasks quite easily, ESPECIALLY if you are using a Google-based email service (i.e., GMail). If you are using something else, one of the third-party email clients like Microsoft Outlook will do the job. Or there may be a service-specific app that will handle it for you, like the one Yahoo provides for Yahoo Mail. //Steve//
