- Answer The Intel i5 will be much faster than the AMD 9 series, if speed is not a concern for you, this would be a great fit for you, but if you need it to perform multi-tasking fairly quickly in a time-efficient manner, this computer is not for you.

My question was how will this particular computer work if used for this purpose?I've seen several references to how slow it is, etc. And I just wanted to be sure it would be reasonably fast if only used for this before we buy it.
