The pic I found of the internals shows it as an m.2 card ssd. I'm uncertain of the tech in it, as it could be NVME or SATA internally. So it IS m.2 (and definitely not a 3.5 drive), just might not be NVME.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I find that most manufacturers leave the 2nd slot for SATA ONLY as they believe it would be used for storage with the 1st SSD a Pcle for OS speed. This is exactly what i will be looking at tomorrow. I have to identify which SATAs I'll be using in my Asus, Ryzen 7 4000, 32GB Crucial, 1TB Samsung 970's SSDs. I have a 500GB 3.5" or an m.2 2280 format. I'll end up trying both. Submit question if interested in outcome.
