Q: QuestionWhat are the specs on the PCIe expansion slots? looking to add a GPU but don't want to find out its not an option after purchasing the device.

• A:Answer Just a heads up, if you're going to be adding a GPU you will also need to change out the PSU as its only a minimal 180W one that comes with the PC. Even if you go with an older 3060 GPU, it'll require at least a 550W PSU.

Q: QuestionI just purchased the Dell - Desktop - Intel Core Ultra 5 225 - 16GB Memory - 1TB SDD - Black which specific ports do I connect the speaker(s) are they on the back of the machine?

• A:Answer Unfortunately, Dell has chosen not to have a speaker input on the back, telling us to plug in our speakers on the front of the desktop instead. Very inconvenient if you want your speaker cables in the back of your computer. This is a huge and awkward mistake on the part of Dell. They need to change this now, and return to inputs back inputs ASAP. This from a longtime, and very disappointed Dell customer!

Q: QuestionI plugged SATA power and data cables to the motherboard and hard drive but the computer would not start. It would not restart even after disconnecting the HD. I have to unplug the power to reset the power supply to be able to restart my computer. Why?

• A:Answer Short Circuit or Overcurrent Protection When you connect the SATA power cable to the hard drive, if the drive or cable is faulty (or misaligned), it can cause a short or draw excessive current. Modern PSUs have Overcurrent Protection (OCP) and Short Circuit Protection (SCP). When triggered, the PSU shuts down completely to prevent damage. That’s why you need to unplug the power cord to reset the PSU.

Q: QuestionWhat would I need to be able to add a sata HDD to this pc so I could have 2 internal drives?

• A:Answer The image I found of the internals had one SATA port which was unused, and there appears to be a connector for a SATA power cord on the motherboard as well. So, you'd need a SATA cable (easy enough) and a compatible power cable (might have to contact Dell for that). The description says there's an open 3.5 bay inside, but I can't see it clearly in pics to verify mounting options. Dell may even sell the 2 cables as an upgrade kit for this unit.

Q: QuestionUnder "Features" there's a mention of an "optional" SD card reader. Is this option included on the machine sold by Best Buy, or not?? Other sellers show it in the basic description as included.
