Would this laptop be fine for college? null

This is a gaming unit, but will work fine if needed for school no problem.

If it just sits on your desk, then it is fine. If you plan on taking it to class or the library, you will want a much lighter machine. It is a good gaming machine but too much of a brick for other laptop uses. at 6+ lbs it is not the lightest laptop, and the power brick weighs more than most laptops. But it is a good gaming machine, unlike most laptops.
