“I bought similar laptop to this one, however it is not the exact same one. It has a I7 proccesor and 16 gb ram. I was wondering if the geek squad warranty or the manufacturer warranty would be voided if the laptop is opened? I plan to add 2nd SSD.”

The Dell warranty associated with this laptop if the laptop is opended to replace / upgrade certain parts like Base cover, Rear cover, Memory, Wireless card and SSD. The Dell limited hardware warranty does not cover problems / damage that result, directly or indirectly, from using accessories, parts or components not supplied by Dell. Yes, the second SSD could be installed.
