Yes it is easy if you are used to it 1 screws holds back on Be careful taking back off and the M2 SSD is right there So is the HD I replaced both (with larger) M2 SSD and a data SSD in place of the SSD

(I did that almost instantly) Replacing the 1tb 5400rpm hard drive with a standard 2.5" SSD, you can also do. Add more RAM? As in, simply add two more sticks of 8gb to get 32gb? No, you cannot do that on this unit. This unit only has two slots for RAM, not 4 like more gaming laptops, so while you can upgrade, you will effectively be throwing away the unit's current ram.
