“HDMI output to a VGA projector input I am looking for a lower end laptop to keep in a conference room with an overhead projector. It seems most new laptops only use HDMI output but most inexpensive projectors still have VGA in like the one linked below. Will a simple hdmi to vga cable or converter work? If so will the quality be decreased to the point where it makes sense to spend a bit more and buy a projector with HDMI input?
