“I've never used a laptop - is it basically the same as desk top & can you send and receive emails on it?”

• I use my laptops as if they are desktops. I have a large monitor I connect to the laptop with a HDMI cable and use a wireless keyboard and mouse. It really functions just like a desktop only better because it has a battery and you can take it with you if you need to.

• Yes, and yes. One setback to many laptops, especially this one, is that they are limited with upgrade options. This laptop, in particular cannot be upgraded with more memory.

• Yes, a laptop can do everything a desktop can do including send and recieve emails.
