QuestionI'm concerned about the 32GB Flash Memory...Would I be able to purchase an External HDD such as a 1TB, 2TB, etc, plug it into the USB 3.0 and increase the capacity of the storage of the PC? 32GB just won't do.

- Answer yes also it has an sd card slot that would allow you to expand memory. however with the low ram if you want to do a lot of multitasking you may want to upgrade to a fast cpu.

- Answer I use my laptops as if they are desktops. I have a large monitor I connect to the laptop with a HDMI cable and use a wireless keyboard and mouse. It really functions just like a desktop only better because it has a battery and you can take it with you if you need to.

Questionhow to expand for win 10 updatewindows is asking to update but theres not enough memory. Even an external flash says needs more C drive memory. This seems like it cant keep up with even the current OS which makes it obsolete and essentially a paperweight

- Answer I had to reinstall the OS. Win10 has the ability to install programs to the SD drive (or an external USB drive) - in Settings/System/Storage . But the OS that was installed on MY laptop didn't have that capability because it was an early version of Win10. To update I had to reinstall the OS using the MS Media Creation Tool - v.easy. That updated Win10 to allow the add'l drive D: and everything was bright & sunny.

- Answer sorry please dont get this laptop..i got it for my gson for christmas and it comes with only 2 gb memory and 32 gb hard drive..the darn windows 10 cant do its updates cause there is no room.

QuestionWhat can I uninstall?Right out of the box, I only have about 2 gigs to work with. Is there anything that can be uninstalled? really can't do anything with the available HD Space.

- Answer You should reinstall Windows 10 completely and disable Hibernate. I have about 10 gb free after doing that.

- Answer Yes. Go to Best Buy or Amazon. Best Buy usually have it In stock. Around $30 or so for 4 Gig. Easy to install or the Geek Squad can install it. Labor ??????

- Answer Yes, it does come with a charger. Every time I plugged it in I got a pop-up warning me that the charger was incompatible with the battery! They both came from Dell in the box the computer came in.

- Answer An internal hard drive can be installed but not inexpensively. There is a hole where one should’ve been installed by the manufacturer. Of course an external drive or a big thumb drive is the easy but less than desirable solution. It is very frustrating that the internal drive is so small that it will not even accommodate the Windows 10 updates before all the available drive space is used up and the update fails. Upgrading to a better computer was my final solution. It solved the limited hard drive trouble and cured the pop up that kept telling me that the charger I was using was incompatible with the battery (both came with the computer!).

QuestionWill It Run Portable Apps Off A Jump Drive ?There are a ton of free Portable Apps that run directly off a Jump Drive on regular Windows Computers. Will this stripped down Windows Netbook also run such programs off a jump drive ? If so, it will greatly enhance it's value to me over a similar Chromebook

- Answer I wouldn't recommend it. However, you can purchase a fast SD card normally the faster the more expensive to do this task. The Hard drive in this the eMMC is actually one of these cards built in. However, it does also depend on the size. You can also get a SSD on sale right now for 40 bucks for a 120 gb if you want extreme speed and space and avoid the card all together. However, harddrive replacement is not for the faint of heart.
