A:Answerfaster? the chromebook and this is different in the fact the OS is different. horses and oranges. chromeos is optimized for webapps. you wont be using microsoft office instead you will be using drive. offloading the lag from the drive servers to your machine can speed it up. i notice no difference between the two and i am what many would consider a power user
