- Answer Yes it can be upgraded. must be DDR3L. I was abel to install 8gb ram successfully even though it states max ram is 4gb. Runs real fast with the 8gb installed.

- Answer It is cloud based. Once you log in to office 365 (all directions are included) and provide the necessary documentation you will down load it and it will send you renewal notices at the end of the year
