Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I see the inconsistency relating to that feature! My guess is that since the artwork indicates that the USB-C port is "data only," the statement that there is "no external display connection" (which occurs twice under the Specifications section) is related to that, i.e., the USB-C connector is NOT for an external display), and was mistakenly placed in the incorrect area. I am reporting this to BB, and maybe they will fix it. Also, as you pointed out, there is an HDMI port, and that is certainly for an external display, so you won't have any problem attaching just one monitor. Usually the external connection is capable of the same specs as the built-in one at a minimum, but it may even be better in this instance.
