Yes, however it takes a bit of effort. You need to drop the bottom portion of the case then drop the keyboard and the screws behind the keyboard. After that you have full access to the motherboard. I went from the 1 TB HD to an intel 180 Gig Cherryville SSD and popped in another 4 gigs of memory. It flies now! There are a couple videos on Youtube on how to crack it open. If you have never opened a laptop I suggest those videos. Just Google the model number and you will be fine.
