• I recently brought this computer (within the last month) and it definitely has a cd/dvd drive, in fact it was one of the only models that I looked at, that did.

• It does have the drive, but at times I found it would not play some disk. Tried too install Microsoft 2007 had the disc,but laptop would not read the disc. So laptop is very finicky.
