“With a moderate amount of CPU load running, does the laptop still stay cool, or get warm or hot? I've heard that the bottom of some Dell products can get uncomfortably warm when on your lap.”

I have only had this laptop for about a month and it does get a little hot when on your lap but nothing to unbearable. I usually put a blanket or a pilllow on my lap to act as barrier between the computer and my lap.
