A:AnswerThere are trial versions of Office 365 or whatever they call it these days, but it's only good for 90 days.
There's a Kaspersky Virus protect offer too, but again I think it's a 6 month version and then it will bug you to death.
Microsoft has free antivirus and malware protection installed. Defender is this months name. They flop between Security Essentials and Defender.
Not sure why. Probably good enough for average user behind a good router with firewall running who doesn't click on all the click bait out there.
