“Why are people saying it doesn't have a very good screen?”

• Because while this has an IPS panel which looks ok and the viewing angles are alright, the RGB percentage is around 50% so the colors look a bit washed out. I have used a different laptop with an IPS display that had a higher percentage and the colors would look more vivid and sharper. Im assuming they cheaped out a little on the display since their premium gaming laptop line would be alienware.

• They're referring to the earlier models that had bad screens. If you buy the ones with IPS screen which this one is, then it's fine.

• Because it has a low resolution screen . It seems like it is a business laptop With a graphics card .

• nothing special in screen, typical LED backlit Good value (less than $900) for a gaming notebook. a desktop monitor will have brighter, higher contrast.
