• A backlit keyboard is a keyboard where the keys are illuminated for viewing in dim or completely dark conditions. Backlit keyboards are popular with gamers for their suitability in darkened gaming environments, and for computer users in general for both practical and aesthetic reasons. This laptop/tablet does not have a backlit keyboard. I don't think you can upgrade to a backlit keyboard.

• It means that there is a light under the keys that allow you to see them when it is dark. it comes with it

• Backlit keyboard has a LED light panel below the keyboard so that the keys letters of the keyboard illuminate when working on the laptop. useful if you are using your your laptop in dark. This laptop does not have a Backlight keyboard.
