I have been looking for an intel i7 and most are really expensive. The HP I previously bought was slow and started heating up real fast. I bought three different kinds of HPs and they all were lemons in my opinion. Not only did I save a lot of money with this dell, but it is the best functioning i7 I've bought. Also, has a really fancy glossy look that makes it look expensive. I enjoyed that there are F function keys in the keyboard and dual microphone so you don't have to yell 'hey, Cortana' for voice activated searches through Cortana. Having windows 10 preinstalled was a nice touch as well, I love the new Microsoft edge, you can write on web pages with or without touchscreens. I am not a fan of touchscreen because I always accidentally touch the screen and then mess myself up by clicking on something wrong.

Good price to get speed and storage (my object) so it has done well. I would prefer a lighted keyboard, and when a bunch of moving uploads hit on newspaper or other news outlet sites (flooded with ads) it just cuts out. You have to hit the on/off switch again to regain the screen and site.

Nice looking, good performing laptop. It is very quiet. The price is excellent for a laptop with Intel I7 processor, 1 TB disk and 6GB memory, compared to my MacBook. Improvement opportunities: display quality, touchpad sensitivity could be better, reduce overall weight, increase battery life, The rest of the hardware seems good. Windows 10 takes getting used to after using my Windows XP for many years. Edge is great.

I have used Dells at work for years so I was pretty convinced this laptop would be good. Overall it works well. But I had issues with the touchpad and its sensitivity. I would move the cursor to the desired location and lift up my finger and the cursor would move before I could click on it. I couldn't find where to adjust the sensitivity for the touchpad in the settings. I also had a lot of issues with it connecting to my wifi at home. It would take a long time to actually hook up with the signal. I had been using a 10 year old laptop before this one that hooked in almost immediately. I ended up returning it and getting a laptop from another brand.

After six weeks using this laptop maybe 10 hours a day, I am very satisfied with it. It has been very reliable and fast with a powerful Intel Core i7 processor. With the already installed Windows 10, it is a current configuration.

I just needed a basic computer for use with my company, nothing extremely fancy. For the price, if you are not looking for all the bells and whistles, you want a good solid processor and plenty of hard drive space, this computer is perfect. No complaints.

This was by far the best deal I found on an i7 laptop. It boots and shuts down quickly and is smooth and fast in use. The screen is larger than my last laptop and easier to use. It was just what I needed.

My boyfriend and I were looking for something relatively simple to have at home for when we needed to pay bills or do some shopping. This computer works great for that! Easy to use and fast! Love it!

I had been debating about upgrading my laptop when my old one started acting up. I'm really not that good at knowing everything about computers and felt overwhelmed trying to decide what to get. Based on what I knew I wanted in a computer and the reviews that I read, I purchased this laptop. I'm pleasantly surprised! I was going from Windows 7 to Windows 10, and completely unfamiliar with Edge. I was really surprised how user friendly it really was to set up. It boots up quickly. This is my at home laptop for surfing the web and working on genealogy research. I don't think I could have gotten anything better for such a good price. I'm very happy with it.

This machine has been very reliable up to this point. I'm still not sure why manufacturers insist on slowing down their computers by inserting these old 5400 rpm hard drives. As soon as I took that slow old thing out and replaced it with an SSD, this laptop took off screaming. I would highly recommend this computer. It could still use a little more RAM.

Purchased on sale for $450. A great deal for i7 chip. So far no issues. Only wish was that the track pad was better. No left or right keys, you have to tap corners which is always subjective. My third Dell computer and have always had a great experience with the brand.
