HI, I just researched this last night and if you want Microsoft Office/powerpoint on your computer, you have to buy a non cloud version. There is a Youtube video from microsoft on how to use the cloud version then save the file onto your computer that you might want to check out. I hope that this helps. Bob
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, Office will work great on this computer, Chromebooks are not Windows and only run Office as an "App". You must be aware that there is what Microsoft calls O365 that is a more cloud based option that requires a yearly subscription (internet required for some functions), but they still offer the "old" perpetual licences that all you to simply download the software after you purchase and run Office programs from your desktop.
