It depends on how you are using the words "stock market trading platform." If you mean, can you go to a website, like Firstrade, and buy stock, yes, no problem. If you are talking about Day Trading, where you must buy and sell stocks within fractions of a second, I would advise getting the fastest computer you can (which should be a desktop, not a laptop). Not the fastest you can afford, but the fastest made. Also, I advise the fastest internet connection you can get (hardwired, NOT WiFi), with a latency below 20ms. Also a backup internet service. Also at least $30,000 to start
