It would. However, the quality of the graphics and speed may become an issue. This isn't necessarily a laptop for gaming. AMD processors are more suited for gaming. If The Sims 4 would be your only game on the computer then you might be okay. Just keep in mind the space that you have and that having a game on there (in conjunction with applications, music, pictures, etc.) may or may not slow it down a lot.

The only thing that might keep you from running this game would be the on-board graphics. Maybe check online for a demo.
