there is a single 4gb stick of memory in this machine. there is only one slot (easily reached under the plastic casing on the bottom center). to upgrade the memory, you will have to unscrew the case and remove the current 4gb memory and add an 8gb memory module. unfortunately, that leaves you with a 4gb stick to try and sell on ebay. be sure to purchase ddr3L memory. most memory is not "L" which stands for low voltage. plan on anywhere from 65-75 dollars for an 8gb stick.
