Q: QuestionI have one being delivered the day after tomorrow and I was wondering what's the presentation of the RAM cards because I want to upgrade it to 16. Any 8th generation, 15" screen, 16GBs RAM will cost more than $500.

Q: QuestionThis laptop would get used around the house, and we have a four year old who routinely bumps into things and knocks them off counters, coffee tables, etc. How durable is this laptop? Do you have another recommendation for one that holds up better?

• A:Answer "Hard drive" storage is a type of memory chip, not a physically spinning disk drive. As such your memory is more drop/bump-resistant than a few years ago. Unfortunately, having had both kids and dogs knock things off tables/etc, best suggestion is to buy off-site cloud-based storage AND a top-level warranty that covers accidental damage. Sorry.
