“I have an older Dell N5040 that in properties shows the processor speed as M380 @ 2.53 GHZ (4GB Ram) Can you explain why the current model I am considering shows a clock speed of 1.2 GHZ ( I am expecting i am not comparing apples to apples ) Thx”

The processor base frequency is 1.20 GHz but the max turbo frequency is 3.40 GHz.
