A:AnswerYes you can, but it costs almost as much as the laptop itself and may void the warranty. I'm considering upgrading the ram on mine from 3gb to 8gh but just haven't done so yet.
A:AnswerYes its good for that but if you use a software program that you download that is big and heavy meaning has lots of things to make it work like a photoshop program would, then it may run slow but should still be fine.
I had an old 10 yr old intel core two duo that ran intensive programs and this pentium may be about almost equal to it, given the time but it did run up to 2.0 Ghz while this one will do 1.5 Ghz basically but that just means may run slower. I used a program for creating tutorials for work called Camtasia.
A:AnswerSo far my daughter has had no issues with playing games on her laptop. She did mention it is faster than her last laptop and she thinks it's faster than her brothers Toshiba Laptop. She has only had it for less than a month - we'll see how it goes as she only uses it on the weekends as she is always on her schools chromebook during the week.
A:Answercheck the dell website for the specs.
This is not a machine I would carry around every day. Better for home based use. Full keyboard and a nice size screen.
A:AnswerDepending on use, for a heavy user, like being all the time at social networks or watching netflix or similar, I have tested it to last almost 3 hours.
A:AnswerI got the same message about the same time. "The AC power adapter type cannot be determined. You system will operate slower and the battery will not charge." So the battery cannot charge any more. Not sure it is the AC powper adapter or the DC jack or the board.

"Dell power cords are your trouble. The wire breaks off to the center pin and without that the PC will power up but the battery will not charge. You can take it apart at the plug nearest the PC and solder it back together, but good luck. You have to cut the thing apart with a blade. I have several Dell and they all have that problem. Order a new one and be very careful not to bend it ever again. Center pin should have +16 volts and the Neg. is the inside rim of the plug. The outside should read +18 volts."
